Questions

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?

No. You only need to share gender, age, health status in your own words, tobacco use, the coverage amount you want, and your preferred term length — roughly 60 seconds of input. Your name, address, and detailed health information stay private until you apply.

Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?

They represent what carriers quote for the health class you entered. After underwriting, the carrier may confirm, improve, or adjust your health class, which changes your final premium. This site shows estimates for comparison; nothing here guarantees a price or coverage.

What happens when I click Apply?

You'll enter your name, and your exact chosen quote launches on the carriers' application platform, already filled with your answers. You're free to pause and return; you sign electronically at the end. Susman Insurance Agency, a licensed California agency (License 0B75129), handles the application.

Will I need a medical exam?

That depends on the carrier, your coverage amount, and what you told us about your health. Carriers with Immediate coverage can issue to eligible applicants without an exam; each quote tells you whether an exam is required, might be required, or isn't needed.

Is a longer term better?

A term should match the years when someone would struggle financially without you — a mortgage, young dependents, a business loan. Longer terms lock your rate in for more years but cost more monthly. The quote tool lets you try 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30 years at once.

Does this site sell my information?

No. The quote tool doesn't ask for contact information, we don't share or sell visitor data, and our analytics use no cookies. See our privacy page for the complete list of what we measure and who can see it.
